      The Associate Director, Commercial Operations will contribute to elevate excellence in execution in the US organization by contributing to consistently boosting performance, achieving executional certainty and ensuring operational effectiveness across the organization. This role reports into the Executive Director, US Commercial Operations in the CSOL Team (Commercial Strategy, Operations and Launch Excellence). This role will engage with all levels of the organization, identifying areas of operational focus to enable business-critical change. The candidate will play a critical role in the US organization by managing General Management meetings/engagement operations, leading key initiatives, and contributing to develop cross-divisional interconnectivity, also through change management activities.

      Location: East Hanover, NJ

      Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

      •Provide daily operational, business planning and strategic communications support for the ED, Commercial Operations
      •Plan, coordinate and schedule key strategic processes and meetings for US LT
      •Lead the Investor Relations process in support of Novartis Quarterly Earnings calls
      •Oversea and manage key initiatives for the General Management Organization and Functions related to critical US business priorities
      •Provide critical support for initiatives to drive excellence in our culture, operations and ways of working
      •Support the organization for key executive events and meetings
      •Build excellence in day-to-day meeting operations, processes and outcomes
      •Establish the Commercial Operations Team as the “go to” group within the US organization to 1) gain clarity on processes, initiatives, deliverables, etc. and 2) to pro-actively share ideas on how to improve our operational excellence, also in terms of culture

      What you’ll bring to the role:

      •Bachelor's Degree required, Master Degree preferred
      •5+ years combined experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or healthcare consulting industry, inclusive of at least 2 different types of cross-functional roles/experiences
      •2+ years leading complex projects requiring cross-functional alignment
      •Strategic thinking and effective problem solving
      •Demonstrated experience analyzing complex situations and processes and effectively integrating and synthesizing information
      •Excellent project management skills with the ability to translate strategy into execution and consistently meet deadlines
      •Proven self-starter with high standards of excellence and an innovative mind
      •Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to influence a diverse group of people at all levels of management, including senior Leadership
      •Curiosity, excellent listening skills and ability to deal with ambiguity/uncertainty
      •Strong customer-focus mindset
      •Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills
