What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Instruct general education courses in the ASVN, BSN, and RN to BSN degree completion programs
- Develop coursework and continuously improve instructional quality using innovative teaching methodologies
- Evaluate student progress and maintain records of attendance and grades
- Assist in strategic planning and assessment of instructional initiatives to ensure program quality
- Provide ongoing communication and support to students through scheduled office hours and electronic communication

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master’s Degree required; Doctoral Degree preferred
- Previous online teaching experience utilizing a Learning Management System (LMS)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Documented background in educational methodology relevant to teaching assignments
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Products, especially Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience mentoring students in an educational setting
- Familiarity with current concepts in specific subjects to be taught
- Current clinical practice experience related to teaching assignments
