      Qualifications: Please read carefully and ensure you meet ALL requirements before submitting your application.

      • Masters in Divinity (PhD preferred) or Masters of Theology or Masters of Christian Studies from a regionally accredited college or university with coursework in New and Old Testament.
      • 2+ years professional experience teaching Christian Worldview or apologetics at the college/university level.

For those with a passion for ministry and helping others through Christ, the College of Theology offers bachelor and master’s degrees in Christian Studies . Specializations include Youth Ministry, Pastoral Ministry, Biblical Studies, and Christian Leadership.

      As an adjunct faculty member, you’ll provide program instruction in an online format, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies, cutting-edge technologies and other industry trends reflecting advancements in your discipline. If you are highly motivated and passionate about teaching exceptional quality instruction, we’d like to hear from you.

      Responsibilities:

      Responsibilities include equipping students with the required skill set, facilitating classroom discussions, assessing student performance, and preparing students to be successful leaders in their chosen profession. Other main responsibilities include the following:

      • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
      • Using GCU’s Learning Management System, you will be providing instruction to your students and grade their assignments in a timely manner.

      CWV-101: Christian Worldview

      "A worldview acts like glasses through which one views the world. In this course, students explore the big questions that make up a worldview, questions like “Why are we here?” and “What is my purpose?” Students examine how Christians answer these questions and work on exploring their own worldviews, as well as learning how worldview influences one’s perceptions, decision making, and everyday life."
