Department of Criminal Justice Studies (CJS) seeks to establish a pool of qualified adjunct instructors to teach in our student-centered, thesis-based, undergraduate program (traditional, online and hybrid course delivery methods).

Our undergraduate program offers students the opportunity to select a concentration from three career areas in the criminal justice system: (1) 21st Century Policing, (2) Corrections and Reentry, and (3) Victim Services.

We anticipate needing instructors in the required core, required concentration, and elective courses.

Applicants shall review the CJS Undergraduate Program.

In their letter of application, they should identify the course(s) that they are best prepared to offer based on education, experience and training. After approved teaching assignments for all full-time faculty members, and the pool of qualified adjunct instructors has been vetted, adjunct taught courses will be assigned based on departmental and programmatic needs.
