      Position Highlights

      The University of Arizona School of Architecture invites applications for the following part-time Adjunct Lecturer teaching positions for the 2023-2024 academic year (Fall 2023, Spring and Summer 2024) at less than 50% time. Adjunct lecturers will teach any of the following courses in the Bachelor of Architecture, Master of Architecture, and/or Master of Science in Architecture programs.

      • Foundation Studios
      • Core Professional Design Studios
      • Research Option Studios
      • Advanced Technology (structures, construction, and environmental systems)
      • Design Communications
      • Architecture History and Theory
      • Professional Practice Courses

      Your teaching load may make you eligible for benefits if you work a .50 FTE or greater for 90 days or longer. As courses and loads are determined, we will notify employees should they gain benefits eligibility status.

      Duties & Responsibilities
      • Teaching and preparation for the specific course(s), as required
      • Participation as a member of the Faculty of Architecture by attending relevant meetings
      • Minor service responsibilities to the School
      Minimum Qualifications
      • Professional degree in architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch); OR
      • B.S. with 15 years of experience in active architectural practice(s)
      Preferred Qualifications
      • Advanced degree in architecture
      • Professional licensure in architecture
