Job Summary:
Salary:
PLNU adjunct pay: Using a 3-unit full semester appointment as a pay guide, the adjunct pay range is $4,860 - $6,480. The units will determine the actual salary.

A commitment to excellent online teaching at the undergraduate level in a Christian liberal arts context is preferred, as well as experience in public administration, for a successful candidate.Adjunct faculty must have knowledge of online pedagogy, instructional strategies and principles appropriate to teaching adult students. Adjuncts are also expected to have knowledge of ways to instruct, manage, motivate and evaluate students.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The work is primarily sedentary and may require sitting for extended periods of time. Use of computer equipment: computer keyboard, mouse, and monitor. Vision to read documents, email and other correspondence, and reports on paper and computer monitor. Hearing and speaking to communicate effectively with others in person and by phone. Will also stand, stoop, push, pull, and lift up to 10 lbs throughout the day.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
