This position will assist in overseeing shift personnel and production flow, provide leadership for their work group and must have the highest working knowledge of the equipment, policies and procedures.

• Train personnel to operate, troubleshoot, adjust, repair, and maintain the machinery; performing the most complex work with the assistance of maintenance personnel.
• Train, coach and enforce all company safety policies.
• Perform quality inspections periodically to ensure manufactured product meets standards.
• Set print and gauge printers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Very high mechanical aptitude is required and must have the ability to read a ruler to 1/32”.
• Required to obtain a set of tools and toolbox to perform job requirements.
• Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written) with staff, and internal and external clients.
• Intermediate computer and math skills.
• Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed, including Saturdays and holidays.
