- Perform administrative duties under moderate to limited supervision.
- Compose, prepare, review, and process documents requiring judgment, independent analysis, and a good working knowledge of company and/or department procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of company matters and data as required.
- Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other department software/systems as needed.
- Effectively and clearly communicate instructions, ideas, and department procedures and policies to customers, employees, and managers.
- Work effectively as a team member within the department and participate on inter-department teams as requested.
- Anticipate the needs of customers, management, and department, providing recommendations for procedure revisions and efficiencies that improve customer service.
- Use independent judgment, initiative, and knowledge of department and company needs and goals to accomplish work assignments.
- Review, initiate, and recommend corrective actions or improvements to administrative practices.
- Reach out to others inside and outside the department who are knowledgeable to assist in resolving issues.
- Highschool Diploma or GED
- Three years of administrative work experience
- Demonstrated computer proficiency including the use of Microsoft Office Products
- Ability to organize data and processes
- Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in power, engineering, or similar industries
- Experience with timekeeping and financial systems helpful

Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Job Description
This role will be based in Corpus Christi, TX. The position may require some travel using a personal vehicle, and a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) will be required. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for performing administrative support duties within the assigned area. Responsibilities are specific to the organizational unit such as region, district, department, or plant.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $14.00 - $18.00/hr.
