What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Compiling data and information for Payment Ordinance Request for Council Action
- Producing clear and organized written documents with proper structure
- Resolving discrepancies and variances in Payment Ordinance usage
- Reviewing and releasing invoices for selected vendors
- Providing support with monthly City-wide billings and Secretary III duties
What is Required (Qualifications):
- One year of paraprofessional experience in governmental research and finance administration
- Bachelor's degree in public or business administration or related field
- Knowledge of City Ordinances, contracts, and procurement
- Experience with SAP or similar accounting system
- Strong written and oral communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Accounts Payable experience
- Experience providing training and multi-level customer service
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and standard computer applications
