      Symetra has an exciting opportunity to join us as an Administrative Assistant supporting an IT Executive!

      About the role

      As an Administrative Assistant, you’ll be supporting an IT Executive by providing a wide range of administrative support and coordination to the daily function of the department.

      What you will do

      • Calendar management, travel arrangements, scheduling and preparation for meetings and presentations, expense reporting and reconciliation, and drafting emails and communications on behalf of the executive.
      • Resolve meeting conflicts and/or communicate scheduling changes to meeting owners.
      • Prepare PowerPoint presentations, meeting agendas and various other meeting preparations.
      • Compose and edit a variety of correspondence, reports, agendas, forms, and other printed or electronic materials.
      • Support team meetings and events through various tasks and projects.
      • Maintain databases and resources for your executive(s) and their teams.
      • Work in partnership with other admins across the organization.

      Compensation

      Salary Range: $22.00-$36.23 hourly plus eligibility for the company annual bonus program.

      Qualifications

      Who You Are:

      • High School Diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
      • 1+ year of administrative experience required, preferably in an IT environment.
      • Intentional with your day, detail oriented, self-motivated, and the ability to prioritize and organize tasks and workload.
      • Proactive and able to quickly anticipate needs of the team with a high level of follow up and responsiveness.
      • Approach your work with a high level of integrity with the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
      • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
      • Very proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint and Word.
