What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide administrative support, including managing office systems and coordinating meetings
- Assist in the preparation and execution of events and advocacy campaigns
- Oversee team supplies and maintain inventory for necessary materials
- Assist with budget tracking, expense reporting, and processing invoices
- Support advocacy efforts by preparing materials for public statements and presentations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate’s degree in business administration, social services, or a related field; bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2-3 years of administrative experience, preferably in a social services or nonprofit environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bilingual in Mandarin, Cantonese, or Spanish, with the ability to translate and interpret
- Familiarity with database management and Microsoft Office Suite
- Commitment to social, racial, and economic justice
- Ability to manage finances, invoices, and petty cash quickly and accurately
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
