      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Oversee the management and operation of the Appellate Services Administration (ASA) including the Office of Appeals and the Appeals Board
      - Supervise and evaluate direct reports, including coaching and disciplinary actions
      - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local reporting requirements and oversee ASA budget expenditures
      - Develop and implement policies, procedures, and work processes for ASA
      - Address complaints and inquiries from various stakeholders and ensure quality and timeliness of appeal decisions

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Arizona and in good standing
      - Minimum of seven years of direct experience in the practice of law, including litigation or administrative tribunal experience
      - Minimum of five years of supervisory or managerial experience, preferably with diverse teams
      - Knowledge of federal and state laws, regulations, and the operations of major DES programs
      - Ability to effectively communicate complex issues and inspire teamwork

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in Unemployment Insurance, Supplemental Nutrition, Cash Assistance, Medical Assistance, Vocational Rehabilitation, and Developmental Disabilities
      - Direct experience drafting and editing legal pleadings and memoranda
