- Scan and read code relevant information from patient clinical records into the practice computer system, working strictly in accordance with the practice scanning and coding protocol. As well as other roles within the scanning sub-department.

- Reviewing medical records to produce a comprehensive summary of patients medical history.
- Ensuring knowledge of the Read Codes system.
- Inputting data using the Read Codes system.

Job summary
Package
The Patient Support Team Administrator will be responsible for general administrative duties within Alnwick Medical Group.
The Administration department consists of 6 sub departments, Scanning & Coding, Summarising, GP Administration, Nurse Administration, IT & Private Paperwork.
This role will focus on overall administration in the Patient SupportTeam as well as the scanning sub department where there are several roles which include: discharges, emails, post, bloods, urgent scanning, scanning & unassigned tasks, OOH, 111, results, A-Hoc duties as well as other roles within the department.
