The candidate is to demonstrate expertise mastery of teaching in each subject and all levels. To include but not limited to: * Teach courses that include both teacher focused and student focused lessons; * Promote student engagement in order to inspire and encourage progress while supporting and strengthening learning capabilities of each participant; * Prepare and deliver lesson plans to students on Standard Reading/Language & Math topics; * Keep abreast of developments in the Reading/Language/Math field by reading current literature, attending relevant seminars/conferences/professional development opportunities; * Maintain accurate, complete and appropriate records and files; * Maintain a healthy learning environment; and * Comply with all Clayton County Public Schools/Technical College Schools of Georgia protocols and regulations. The candidate will be required to work directly with students for 40 hours each week. The candidate will work 8 hours per day and 5 days per week. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university Georgia Professional Standards Commission Teaching Certification preferred, but not required.
