- Clinical Practice: Provide autonomous care, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment for patients presenting with undifferentiated or complex conditions.
- Patient Management: Manage both acute and chronic conditions, integrating various treatment methods, and prescribe medications within your scope of practice.

- Education: Evidence of continued professional development, including relevant postgraduate qualifications (e.g., MSc in Advanced Practice).
- Specialist Training: Qualifications in areas such as minor illness, advanced physical assessment, or chronic disease management.
- IT Proficiency: Familiarity with clinical systems (e.g., EMIS) and proficiency in using electronic patient records.

Job summary
Firth Park Surgery is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Prescribing Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join our friendly and supportive team. This is a great opportunity to work in a well-established, forward-thinking GP practice with a strong focus on patient care.
The candidate will need to demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills, for patients within the General Practice.
The right candidate will work as part of a clinical team which includes GP's and other ANP's in managing acute daily demand.
To work collaboratively with the practice team to meet the needs of the patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures.
Main duties of the job
3 - 4 sessions per week Tuesday & Friday
Competitive pay: £30 per hour

You will see acute, on-the-day patients, Triaged by one of our GPs supporting our clinical team in delivering high-quality care.
To work collaboratively with the practice team to meet the needs of the patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures.
