      Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to support Petro-Canada email enablement, including responsibility for list segmentation, extracting email lists, quality control, and score carding for over 30 million guest email contacts annually?

      In this role, you will provide advice and counsel to business owners on email strategy and tactics. You will also have the opportunity to support data analytics, predictive modeling, visualization and dashboards and provide key insights in support of strategic and tactical objectives.

      Minimum Requirements:

      • 3+ years of experience in data analytics with a focus on consumer behavior; education in B. Comm, Computer Science, Data Science, or similar quantitative focused degree
      • Programming knowledge: experience using Databricks or similar business intelligence tools
      • Experience using data visualization dashboards (MS Power BI preferred, Tableau, DOMO, Python) and experience with MS Office suite of products; MS Excel
      • Demonstrated expertise in database analytics principles and practices
      • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and influence decisions
      • Multi-tasker with the ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines

      Responsibilities:

      • Support email operations including maintaining an accurate email list, assisting with email list segmentation, extracting email lists from loyalty database using query tools, ensuring quality control adherence including GI compliance with CASL legislation
      • Provide advice and counsel to business owners and Marketing Communications team on CRM / email strategy and tactics
      • Develop and maintain data analytics dashboards through MS Power BI
      • Provide ad hoc support to a range of business owners including Loyalty, Category Management and leadership teams who require data analytics for business initiatives or business cases. Typical examples include spending trends, swipe rates, basket analysis, in specific geographies or specific member segments
      • Work with stakeholders across the organization to translate business objectives into appropriate, useable KPIs. Build data queries, dashboards, and performance scorecards for execution by analysts in other business areas
      • Data mine proprietary databases and systems including transactional database, loyalty points systems, CRM systems. Extract insights from transactional data and customer data
      • Support the development and application of advanced analytics including but not limited to machine learning and predictive modeling

      Location and other Key Details:

      • You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W.
      • Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
      • Our business professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines, and the pay band will generally be based years of experience and scope of work
