      About the Role

We're a learning-based culture where team members are supported to grow, reflect, & develop their skills. We thrive on kindness, collaboration, & a shared commitment to patient safety, ensuring the best possible care for those who need our support.

      • Book post-operative checks for patients who need follow-up care in clinic
      • Refer patients to our counselling service & safeguarding team when needed
      • Refer patients to A&E or their GP where appropriate
      • Make safeguarding risk assessments & referrals to social services or other relevant agencies if needed
      • Accurately update patient notes & inform clinics of any required follow-ups

      About You

You'll be a Registered Adult Nurse Level 1 or Midwife (practising) with experience in midwifery triage, gynaecology, abortion care, or a related acute setting. You'll need:

      • Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical triage setting
      • Strong decision-making skills and confidence in telephone-based clinical assessment
      • A broad clinical knowledge, with experience working to guidelines, policies, & procedures
      • Good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
      • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and listening skills
      • The ability to work autonomously, making sound clinical decisions while independently managing patient triage, and self-motivate in a home-based setting

This role fully supports your NMC revalidation, ensuring you can maintain your registration while gaining valuable experience in clinical triage. All training, patient interactions, & professional development will contribute towards your revalidation requirements.

  • About the company

National Health Service (NHS) is the umbrella term for the publicly-funded healthcare systems of the United Kingdom (UK). The founding principles were that services should be comprehensive, universal and free at the point of delivery—a health service based on clinical need, not ability to pay. Each service provides a comprehensive range of health services, free at the point of use for people ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom apart from dental treatment and optical care.
