We are looking for a Lead Data Architect to join our Data & AI Practice at Sopra Steria. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the successful technical delivery of Data & AI solutions, ensuring projects meet time, budget, and quality objectives. You’ll lead data engineering and data science initiatives, working closely with multi-functional teams to design and deliver innovative end-to-end solutions that leverage data in novel ways.

What you'll be doing:

• Leading the technical delivery of data and AI solutions, ensuring alignment with time, budget, and quality requirements.
• Acting as a trusted advisor by providing specialist technical knowledge for both bids and delivery projects.
• Designing sophisticated solutions using simulation, predictive analytics, and artificial intelligence.
• Leading and developing high-performing engineering teams and providing line management support.
• Driving innovation to deliver better customer and business outcomes.
• Developing data and AI platform offerings, technology blueprints, and reusable capabilities.
• Consulting on data strategy, governance, and ethical AI practices.

What you’ll bring:

• Proven expertise in enterprise and solution data architecture, with experience in The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF).
• Solid understanding of data modelling, integration, transformation, warehousing, analytics, and presentation tools.
• Experience with data lake, data lake house, data fabric, and warehousing technologies.
• Proficiency in developing data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and implementing obfuscation and synthetic data generation solutions.
• Familiarity with data and AI standards such as GDPR, Information Security, and ethical AI.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to develop teams, coach colleagues, and make sure delivery excellence.
• Passion for technology, innovation, and delivering impactful solutions.

It would be great if you had:

• Experience with tools like Azure AI Platform, AWS Sagemaker, MS Fabric, Snowflake, and Talend.
• Familiarity with cloud-native delivery using the Microsoft Azure Cloud.
