What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and refine Large Acoustic Models (LAMs) to improve accuracy, reliability, explainability, and clinical utility
- Conduct research and experiments to identify new vocal biomarkers and expand the range of detectable health conditions
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in speech processing, audio, and speech machine learning
- Collaborate with the engineering team to implement and deploy AI models into the platform
- Analyze and interpret research data to draw meaningful conclusions and inform product development
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Strong foundation in AI, machine learning, and deep learning
- Experience with voice and speech processing techniques, including acoustic modeling, feature extraction, and classification
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with healthcare data and applications
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Contributions to open-source projects or scientific publications in relevant fields
