The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Scientist is responsible for extracting valuable insights from real-world data sources (documents, unstructured, and multi-modal data), leveraging generative AI technologies, identifying customer pain points, and creating next generation experiences enabled by the generative AI technologies. This position utilizes the latest in AI technologies along with the team’s expertise in data engineering and data science to unlock the big opportunities in risk management, drive efficiencies, and improve customer experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Design and develop custom Generative AI, NLP, LLM Models to automate workflows processing multi-modal data using batch and stream processing-based AI ML pipelines. Pipeline components include data ingestion, preprocessing, search and retrieval, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), fine-tuning and prompt engineering to ensure the solution meets all technical and business requirements.

· Accelerate the pace of innovation by building quick prototypes for experimentation and scaling successful prototypes into deployed production systems.

· Work closely with members of the technology team and business stakeholders in the design, development, and deployment of the model solutions to ensure smooth integration of AI/ML models into production systems.

· Document and maintain comprehensive documentation of AI/ML modeling processes and procedures for reference and knowledge sharing.

· Ensure that the models are designed and developed while adhering to specified standards, governance and best practices.
