What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Input necessary transactions to account for disbursements made by Air and Space Force personnel
- Analyze and resolve accounting issues identified by financial management customers
- Provide ad hoc training to Air Force Financial Managers via various communication methods
- Support other teams within financial management, including surge support and year-end processes
- Navigate Air Force accounting systems and feeder systems to validate and review data entries
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Two years of Air Force Financial Management experience in lieu of a degree
- Ability to obtain a U.S. secret level security clearance (requires U.S. Citizenship)
- Strong communication skills to effectively brief senior leaders and managers
- Willingness and ability to travel as required for support activities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel and PowerBI
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
- Experience in AF Funds Control, Accounting, Financial Analysis, and Accounts Payable
- Familiarity with AF Lines of Accounting and financial data elements
- Experience with reviewing computed travel vouchers and miscellaneous collection vouchers
- Knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI, Microsoft Azure, or HighBond
