      Insight Surgical Hospital is a small, friendly, and minimally invasive surgical center and clinic with patient services second to none! We are proud of our fast-paced, patient-focused, team-oriented environment with professionals in neurology, orthopedics, pain management, chiropractic, gastroenterology, podiatry specialties and more. Every member of our team is crucial to the patient experience and our success! Our Hospital and Clinic do not treat general illnesses, including COVID-19, and has required health safety measures in place for everyone prior to entering the facility, including temperature and symptom checks, required PPE and other health hygiene measures.

      The HOPD (Hospital-based Outpatient Department) Manager is responsible for the non-clinical operations of a medical practice group within our multi-specialty Insight team. This expansion position in our rapidly growing organization will partner with the Clinical Manager for the defined practice. Responsibilities include direct supervision of non-clinical staff, collaboration with the Clinical Manager and other leadership on departmental programs/services, efficient operation of the department, non-clinical policies/procedures, orientation, and in-service training.

      Duties:
      • Plan and coordinate administrative procedures and systems and ways to streamline processes.
      • Market and grow clinic practice.
      • Perform project management for clinic’s growth and development activities
      • Recruit and oversee training of personnel and allocate responsibilities.
      • Assess staff performance and provide guidance to ensure maximum efficiency.
      • Communicate effectively between departments and with the Clinical Manager to ensure smooth operations.
      • Manage schedules and deadlines.
      • Monitor inventory for non-clinical office supplies and the purchasing of new material.
      • Budget preparation.
      • Oversee facilities services, maintenance activities and tradespersons.
      • Review, develop, implement, administer and assist to resolve questions related to approved policies and procedures for the efficient operation of the departments.
      • Participate in audits to assure departmental quality assurance standards are maintained and prepare and maintain reports on department quality assurance issues.
      • May assist in departmental functions.
      • Other job-related duties as assigned.


      Qualification:
      • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field required.
      • MBA in Business Administration preferred.
      • Must have the ability to design, manage, coordinate, supervise and evaluate the various programs, services and assigned associates.
      • Focused on profitability and efficiency of operations
      • Demonstrated experience in quality and process improvement
      • Excellent organization and multitasking abilities as well as communication and delegation to work in partnership with the Clinical Manager.
      • A team player with leadership skills.
      • Willingness to continue building skills through education opportunities.
