What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Maintain HIPAA compliance while providing telephonic crisis counseling
- Connect with individuals over the phone who are experiencing emotional distress or mental health issues
- Build rapport and engage clients effectively
- Assess risk and document information during calls
- Provide necessary resources and information to clients
- Identify coping strategies and develop safety plans
- Provide emergency intervention when necessary
- Remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduate degree in behavioral health field (MSW, PsyD, or PhD) or M.A. or M.S. in behavioral health with a clinical practice emphasis
- Licensed as a limited or fully licensed social worker or counselor according to state licensing board requirements
- Reside in Michigan with one of the following licenses: LLMSW, LLC (aka LLPC), LLP, LLMFT, LMSW, LPC, LMFT, LLP, or LP

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in crisis counseling or a related healthcare field
