      Position Summary

      AltaGas is seeking a Scheduling Analyst to support the Midstream Rail & Trucking Logistics team! This position is primarily responsible for ensuring accurate and timely scheduling of commodity movements in Allegro, AltaGas' risk and commodity management system. This position also performs data analysis to help recognize patterns to maintain logistics KPIs for cost management and efficiencies of rail car movements.


      What You'll Do:

      • Work collaboratively with the commercial and logistics teams to ensure transactions are scheduled in Allegro daily.

      • Review work to ensure accuracy in system entries.

      • Work closely with the middle and back offices to ensure risk reporting and settlements are accurate.

      • Responsible for maintaining and distributing departmental KPIs.

      • Continuously evaluate the Allegro processes to identify efficiencies and create optimizations.

      What You Bring:

      • Bachelor's degree in commerce, finance, or data science/ data management required.

      • 1- 2 years of relevant experience in the energy industry is required.

      • Advanced technical skills in Microsoft Excel.

      • Experience with Allegro and Power BI is an asset.

      • Python Scripting skills are an asset.

      • Strong attention to detail, proven ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet critical deadlines.

      • Superior oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

      • A motivated individual who can work both independently and as a team.
