Manage inbound and outbound communication directly with financial advisors during both the pre-sale and post-sale process related to Client Service activities
Maintain a working knowledge of both the pre-sale and post-sale Client Service processes for financial advisors allocating to Nuveen Alternative Investments at various broker dealer and intermediary partner platforms.
Coordinate with the Alternative Service Operations team on handling communications with financial advisors on Client Service topics such as purchases, redemptions, transfers, exchanges, tax, capital calls, account maintenance, and performance reporting.
Document financial advisor Client Service interactions in the shared CRM of the Nuveen sales and distribution teams to promote transparency and collaboration across the organization.

2 years of Client Service experience
3+ years of experience in the Asset Management Industry
3+ years of Client Servicing experience
Bachelor’s degree
Knowledge of Alternative Investment products
Ability to build rapport with clients and internal business partners
Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills; ability to analyze and prioritize projects and tasks.
Detail oriented
Desire to assist others in a fast-paced, sales-oriented environment
Self-starter that can manage multiple tasks at the same time
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication and written skills.
The Alternative Investments Service Specialist supports Nuveen’s capital raise efforts in the US Wealth channel by building Client Service partnerships with financial advisors throughout the pre-sale and post-sale process. Service specialists will be assigned a geographical region of the US and will work closely with the sales and distribution teams in the assigned region.

2025-04-25 Base Pay Range: $64,300/yr. - $103,000/yr.Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
