      POSITION SUMMARY

      The Amazon Sales Manager will be a key member of the national accounts sales team, reporting to the Director of National Accounts. In this role, the Amazon Sales Manager will be responsible for managing both Amazon 1P (Vendor Central) and 3P (Seller Central) accounts, driving sales growth, optimizing profitability, and executing effective promotional and pricing strategies.

      A successful sales leader will have a strong background in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), be well-versed in Amazon's evolving marketplace dynamics as well as a demonstrated growth mindset, ability to work with multiple priorities, and manage ambiguity as part of a fast-paced, high-performance team with a bias for action.

      RESPONSIBILITIES
      • Amazon Sales & Marketplace Management: Lead and execute sales strategies for both 1P and 3P accounts. Develop pricing, trade, and promotional strategies to optimize profitable revenue growth. Monitor and manage Buy Box performance, ASIN optimization, and sales velocity.
      • Growth Strategy & Business Development: Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and consumer insights to drive business growth. Launch new ASINs, product variations, and brand expansions on Amazon. Execute seasonal promotions, Subscribe & Save strategies, and key event sales (Prime Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, etc.).
      • Promotions & Pricing Strategy: Handle Amazon deductions and minimize chargebacks and shortages to maintain profitability. Implement brand pricing strategies and manage pricing controls to prevent channel conflicts between Amazon 1P, 3P and other retail partners
      • Inventory & Operations Management: Oversee FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) logistics and demand forecasting to prevent stockouts and overstocking. Collaborate with supply chain teams to optimize replenishment strategies and manage Lead Time Agreements (LTAs) for 1P vendors.
      • Data Analytics & Reporting: Analyze performance metrics from Amazon Retail Analytics (ARA), Business Reports, and third-party tools to identify growth opportunities. Generate reports and insights using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
      • Account & Relationship Management: Manage relationships with Amazon Vendor Managers (1P), troubleshoot Seller Central issues (3P), and resolve ASIN restrictions. Familiarity with negotiating trade funding, Co-Op agreements, and promotional funding while minimizing deductions.
      • Amazon Advertising & Marketing: Familiarity with Amazon PPC, DSP, and Sponsored Ads (Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, etc.).
      • Internal Teamwork: Efficiently manage key stakeholders in finance, supply chain, operations, and marketing to prioritize critical projects and programs to drive brand growth
      • Additional Responsibilities (Walmart.com & Target.com): Manage Walmart.com and Target.com selling strategies, including item setup, promotional planning, and assortment strategies.


      EDUCATION, EXPEREIINCE AND ABILIITIES
      • Bachelor's degree required
      • 3-5+ years of experience managing Amazon 1P and 3P accounts with a Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) company, preferably in oral care, personal care, or health & wellness.
      • Deep understanding of Amazon's pricing, trade terms, and profitability models.
      • Expertise in inventory management, forecasting, and Amazon's fulfillment channels (FBA, FBM, Direct Fulfillment).
      • Strong analytical skills with experience using Amazon Retail Analytics, Business Reports, and MS Office Suite.
      • Familiarity with Amazon advertising (PPC, DSP, Sponsored Ads, SEO, A+ Content, etc.).
      • Experience in Walmart.com and Target.com (preferred but not required).
      • Critical thinking & decision-making skills through data utilization to deliver results.
      • Excellent oral and written communication skills
      • Entrepreneurial mindset and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to work independently

      The pay range for this position of Amazon Sales Manager is $104,460 - $156,690 However, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus as part of total compensation.
