      About the role

      Nexperia are investing in sustainable alternatives to batteries and are broadening our portfolio of power management products to include energy harvesting solutions. With the ability to harvest energy from light, vibrations, radio waves or temperature gradients, these products will replace batteries in low power applications such as smart wearables and autonomous wireless sensor nodes. As an Analog Mixed-Signal Verification Engineer at Nexperia Energy Harvesting you will work as part of a local and global team playing a key part in the verification of the product prior to mass production. You will play a key part in the launch of our innovative ‘Plug and Forget’ Energy Harvesting products. Come and join us on our journey working towards a sustainable future of electronics.

      What you will do

      As Analog Mixed-Signal Verification Engineer (AMS), you will work as part of a larger design team focusing on verifying the whole chip design through simulation before releasing to the fab for production. You will work closely with both the Design Lead and System Engineer based in Delft Netherlands, with a focus on designing and building test benches for the product prior to production. You will define and collect top level use-case scenarios to be verified using various AMS tools.

      Other duties include:

      • Supporting in finding root cause in case of incorrect results
      • Support design engineers in their block-level verification
      • A nalysis of top-level simulation results to give detailed feedback to design team on product performance
      • Report on simulation results
      • Prepare verification results to be matched later with Validation results
      • Maintain verification result database to be able to compare to previous versions / states of the design

      What you will need

      This position is suited to an individual with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electronic engineering or related field with at least 1-2 years of experience in AMS design verification.

      Essential skills include:

      • Strong technical background in verification of analog mixed-signal designs
      • Strong in coding Verilog, Verilog-A
      • Strong in using Cadence flow to setup a verification environment for complex tests
      • Strong in data management and processing
      • Experience in analog mixed-signal design
      • Capability in breaking down complex topics into several simplified ones
      • Team player with strong communication skills in English
      • Ability to work in international environment

      Desirable skills include:

      • Experience with top-level design
      • Experience with skill coding and Ocean or Pearl scripting
