Analysis Team Member

Summary

Analysis team member is part of our waste water team. As a team member in our analysis department you will work around our different chemicals that help our surface treatment, plating lines operator. you will help process improvement to ensure our analysis lab is properly functioning.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. collect samples of different chemical tanks (JC/BZ and some DS)
2. Perform Ph checks and make adjustments if needed (with chemicals)
3. Analyze samples and record data
4. Make chemical adds and adjust chemical concentration based of analytical data.
5. Remake chemical tanks
6. Fill and monitor chemical day tank levels
7. Maintain chemical room 4s
8. Various lab duties
9. Learn how to run AA machine (atomic absorption)
10. other duties may be assigned

Qualifications

Education & Training

• hazmat certification
• one-year certification from a college or technical school, six months related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

The Team Member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The Team Member must be able to lift a container of fasteners weighing up to 25 pounds on a regular basis. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is frequently required to sit, to use their hands to finger, handle, or feel, and to talk or hear.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of team members of organization.
