      About the Role

      This position will support Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) activities for Gap Brand globally, including management of the monthly forecast, close and annual budget processes. This role independently manages the Gap P&Ls, which is a highly visible responsibility proving critical to brand leadership and decision support. We are looking for an Analyst that is detail-oriented, is a self-starter, has excellent communication skills and strong Excel modeling skills.

      What You'll Do

      • Manage monthly forecast and annual budget processes through communication of guidance to Regional FP&A and Global CP teams, consolidation and publish of Gap Global P&Ls and supporting documents
      • Partner closely with regional FP&A teams to understand forecast variances and R&O; help to identify trends and opportunities
      • Lean in to provide support to Regional FP&A, Corporate FP&A and other Finance teams as needed
      • Proactively strengthen current processes through tool functionality and other process optimization
      • Support executive level presentations such as Brand President reviews, Investor Relations and Board of Directors communications
      • Own line-items for Other Cost of Sales line items partnering cross-functionally on forecast and close
      • Be the point person for Essbase related issues, reconciliations and restatements working with the Essbase team and Corporate
      • Establish a track record of clear communication up, down and across the organization

      Who You Are

      • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
      • 3-4+ years of work experience, preferably in financial analysis or related equivalent, retail industry experience a plus
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
      • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently
      • Strong sense of accountability and ownership; proven record of delivering to high standards of accuracy
      • Team player with a positive attitude - must be flexible, open to cross-training and leaning in as needed across the team
      • Expert in Excel functionality and modeling skills, knowledge of Essbase/Hyperion and Anaplan preferred
