Undergraduate degree in economics, life sciences, epidemiology, public health, medicine, pharmacy, statistics or relevant
A postgraduate degree in health economics, pharmacy, biostatistics, epidemiology, healthcare policy or other healthcare related discipline
Strong numeracy and quantitative skills as well as competency using MS Excel (competency using Visual Basic is a plus)
Strong written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English– applications should be sent in English
Flexible & problem-solving mindset, excellent attention to detail and ability to check own work so that drafts are delivered to a high quality
Strong time-management and organisational skills
Attitude to work well as a member of team and to build and manage relationships in a multi-cultural environment
Eligibility to work in the office location without visa sponsorship
Experience working in a consultancy, CRO, pharmaceutical/biotech companies or other service sector in the healthcare industry
Quantitative skills, including good knowledge of statistical software packages (e.g., R, STATA)

About the tam
The IQVIA Real World Methods and Evidence Generation (RW MEG) team includes over 100 highly qualified multi-disciplinary professionals in a variety of health economics, statistics, life sciences and epidemiology-related disciplines based in 12 geographies. We help our customers design and execute an evidence generation strategy meeting payer and health technology assessment (HTA) evidence requirements and effectively communicate their product’s value story. Our Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) HQ is situated next to Paddington station in London, representing a team with a European presence beyond the UK.
Our clients operate in the life sciences industry, including the global top 20 pharmaceutical companies, medical device and biotech companies, as well as public health providers and regulatory authorities. They are looking for insight and evidence around the safety, efficacy, effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of health care delivery systems, medical devices, and pharmaceutical products spanning the full spectrum of therapeutic and disease areas. About the role
The role is EU or UK based with flexibility regarding location (including Athens, Lisbon, Amsterdam and London) and frequency of office and home working. Report into our EMEA Regional Business Unit, with focus on the European market. Depending on your background and experience, you will support projects including Health Technology Assessment (HTA) submissions in EU markets and UK, literature reviews, evidence synthesis (eg., meta-analyses, indirect treatment comparison), development and adaptation of economic models (e.g., budget impact, cost-effectiveness) and dissemination of the results by means of posters and manuscripts. You will work closely with a diverse range of peers, project managers and subject matter experts, both in the local office and offices across Europe.
