What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform research and analysis of complex healthcare claims, pharmacy, and lab data
- Develop ad-hoc reports and generate standard reports using SQL and other reporting software
- Collect and document report requirements, ensuring accurate report creation
- Analyze data sets for anomalies, trends, and opportunities for improvement
- Assist with special projects in support of regulatory and contracting agencies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Math, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 2-4 years of increasingly complex database and data management responsibilities
- Strong hands-on experience using SQL, MS Azure, Databricks, Salesforce, and Power BI
- Demonstrated experience in quantifying and analyzing financial and utilization metrics in healthcare
- Basic knowledge of SQL and healthcare performance metrics
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in Medical Economics and strong knowledge of performance indicators
- Ability to proactively identify and investigate complex medical cost issues
- Skills in predictive modeling and healthcare analytics
- Proficiency in Excel, Visio, and Access
