- Performing quantitative and qualitative data analysis to provide business solutions
- Communicate analysis and interpretation to appropriate audience
- Analyze reporting related to the development and performance of products, processes and technologies
- Assisting team leads with various research projects pertaining to multiple content areas or business needs
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support strategic business initiatives
- Use relevant data to make fact-based decisions
- Database maintenance, reporting and extracting data for various reports and analyses, initiating database improvement
- Conduct audits and provides feedback to reduce errors and improve processes and performance
- Provide explanation and information to others on process improvement initiatives
- Collect relevant information by pulling and analyzing data from multiple systems
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
- Actively enrolled in an accredited college/university during the duration of the internship. Internships are not intended for graduating seniors
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization. F-1 visa holders with Optional Practical Training (OPT) who will require H-1B status, TNs, or current H-1B visa holders will not be considered. H1-B and green card sponsorship is not available for this position
- Pursuing degree in Information Technology, Healthcare, Project Management, Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Data Analytics, or another business-related field
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook)

During our 10-week internship program, you will gain meaningful work experience and exposure to the nation’s leading health care company, while learning what a career at UnitedHealth Group will have in store for you. You will be assigned to a team that aligns with your career aspirations, influence business recommendations to senior leadership teams and partner with a dedicated mentor and manager that will support you as you take on challenges of key importance to the company. You’ll be empowered to build relationships, drive innovation across the business, and share in a growth mindset. In addition, you’ll have access to analyst trainings and curriculum to provide you with foundational knowledge necessary to truly become a subject matter expert. You will also be invited to experience our Minnesota Headquarters, during an experience garnered toward networking and development.
