- Gathering, tracking and analysis of financial and inventory management data and converting that data into useful management information.
- Develop presentations and/or training material for external and internal audiences that deliver a clear message and corporate tone.
- Collaborate with Accounting, Enterprise Asset Management, Warehouse personnel, Information Technology (IT), Operations and Procurement to analyze data and support the development of inventory strategies.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and 5-year operating plan leveraging multiple internal and external resources to forecast warehouse leasing costs, maintenance and other variable costs incurred by the Inventory Management team.
- Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicators within the PowerBI system for Regional Warehouses and Inventory Management teams, Corporate Inventory Management and Asset Recovery.
- Research potential inventory management strategies and provide recommendations for implementation.
- Assist in the preparation of PowerPoint presentations for management to describe strategy objectives and details to obtain approvals and/or commitments.
- Learn and develop an understanding of the assets we have in place to maximize value.
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field is required.
- Minimum 1 year experience in the energy industry is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities and contribute to the team.
- Ability to work efficiently and thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to effectively interact with internal customers and colleagues.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to develop quantitative models for strategy development and decision support.
- Ability to apply strategic and critical thinking skills for long range analysis & planning.
- Excellent written and verbal skills and the ability to interpret, organize, chart, graph and present large amounts of data into useful management information. Ability to communicate and convey information and ideas in a clear and concise manner.
- Proficiencies in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook.
- A highly motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Ability to quickly learn new applications such as Oracle, Visio, and others.
