What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze claims, membership, and ADT data to identify early signs of trends or issues related to medical care costs
- Perform qualitative analysis to identify cost drivers and develop data-driven strategies for improvement
- Collaborate with finance and business leaders to create benchmarks for monitoring medical cost trends
- Track the performance of medical cost Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across markets
- Structure analytical results in an organized and visual manner to convey actionable insights

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in STEM (e.g., Applied Math, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Economics, or related field)
- 1-2 years of prior experience as an analyst with a health plan, ACO, RBE, or consulting firm focused on healthcare analytics
- Proficiency in MS Excel, including formulas, PivotTables, and reporting features
- Knowledge of healthcare/medical economics data, including claims and industry coding systems
- Excellent communication skills across verbal, written, and presentation formats

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in data mining and working with healthcare claims and enrollment data in large databases
- SQL experience strongly preferred
