What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform research, financial modeling, and analysis of complex healthcare claims data to deliver actionable insights
- Develop key strategic reports and analytics using SQL programming and Business Intelligence tools
- Track, monitor, and report on cost savings initiatives and their performance
- Conduct financial modeling and analysis to support negotiation strategies for contract proposals
- Present analytical results and findings to senior management and key stakeholders

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, Actuarial Sciences, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of analytics experience in financial analysis, healthcare pricing, or network management
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and intermediate to advanced proficiency in SQL
- 3+ years of experience in quantifying, measuring, and analyzing financial/performance management metrics
- Experience with complex database and data management responsibilities

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's Degree in a related field
- Experience in healthcare medical economics or strong financial analytics background
- Ability to identify and investigate complex medical cost issues
- Experience with industry-standard normalization/reimbursement methodologies (APR-DRG, MS-DRG, EAPG, APC)
- Proficiency in predictive modeling and healthcare analytics
