What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage assigned account and claim edit work queues, coordinating with administrative and clinical operations staff
- Serve as a resource and liaison for clinical charging and financial areas regarding coding and charge capture compliance
- Review patient medical records for charge capture and resolve billing edits based on clinical documentation
- Demonstrate Service First characteristics to enhance service and customer satisfaction
- Perform related responsibilities as required or directed

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the healthcare industry with knowledge of hospital and/or physician revenue cycle functions
- Associate Degree or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Working knowledge of current Medicare, Medicaid, and other regulatory guidelines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
- Knowledge of facility and professional billing claim forms, fields, and values

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in the healthcare industry with knowledge of hospital and/or physician revenue cycle functions
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management or Nursing
- Familiarity with nThrive Knowledge Source application
- Understanding of medical coding rules and regulations
- Experience in various clinical settings
