      Position Summary:

      This position is the liaison between epiq, supplier partners and customers. The Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day interactions between sales, marketing, procurement and finance teams. They will lead activities that help drive brand awareness and sales of epiq supplier partners’ products and services collaboratively within a matrixed organization.

      Duties And Responsibilities:

      • Responsible for offering new brands/items to member distributors.
      • Develops strong brand/product knowledge through independent research and training with manufacturer partners.
      • Helps execute and collaborates on epiq’s part of the go-to market strategy and drive brand awareness for our brands/manufacturer partners through the distribution channel.
      • Manages the implementation of all activities between epiq and member distributors including but not limited to marketing, sales training/communication, incentives/rebates and process improvements.
      • Collaborates with various internal and external stakeholders.
      • Administers new member distributor contracts and contract renewals.
      • Attends member distributor sales meetings and industry trade shows as needed.
      • Helps create and contribute to business reviews with member distributors and manufacturer partners to review/measure performance objectives and market trends/insights.
      • Offers input and ideas on how best to maximize brand sales through member distributors.
      • Cultivates relationships with member distributors and manufacturer partners such that you can be the trusted advisor on how to get things done.
      • Monitors/tracks and analyzes member distributor sales and sales enablement/incentive programs.
      • Makes travel arrangements and submits expense reports.
      • Helps accounts receivables with resolution of disputes and/or aged outstanding balances.
      • Create sales program presentations, training materials, surveys and quizzes.
      • Manages item changes with member distributors (ie price changes, discontinuations, new items, substitutions, etc.) clearly and timely.
      • Submits invoices to accounting from customers for marketing activities and requests for reimbursement.
      • Manages member distributor profiles, contacts and sales leads for all epiq brands.
      • Collects sales rosters and media kits from member distributors annually.
      • Answers supplier and customer questions promptly and accurately.
      • Special projects as needed.

      Required Qualifications:

      Education

      • A Bachelor’s degree in communication, business management or related field preferred (or experienced equivalent).

      Work Experience

      • 3-5 years in customer service or administration, sales, account management preferably in the animal or human health industry.

      Technical Skills

      • Demonstrated experience focusing on the customer and providing superior customer service.
      • Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally to help drive mutual organizational success.
      • Experience executing on plans, driven to deadlines and attention to detail.
      • Resourceful: Must have the ability to understand and assimilate brands/product knowledge and other resources related to selling the brands through the animal health distribution channel.
      • Must have the ability to follow-through and solve customer problems.
      • Must be self-motivated and goal oriented, requiring little day-to-day supervision.
      • Strong communication (both verbal and written), time management, and organizational skills.
      • Strong computer skills with demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office Package (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
      • CRM experience a plus.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
      • Ability to adapt to change as the industry and business evolve.

      Salary may vary depending on factors such as confirmed job-related skills, experience, and location.

      However, the pay range for this position is as follows. Sales Positions are eligible for a Variable Incentive

      $51,040.00 - $85,030.00
