      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Change rodent cages and maintain cleanliness of animal housing areas
      - Stock supplies and ensure all necessary materials are available for research
      - Keep accurate records related to animal care and research activities
      - Handle research mice and perform tissue sampling for PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction)
      - Assist in overall room maintenance and organization of the research facility

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Must be a student at UW-Madison or a qualified educational institution
      - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
      - General knowledge of computers and email
      - Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
      - Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Previous experience in a laboratory or research setting
      - Familiarity with animal husbandry practices
      - Knowledge of basic laboratory techniques, including PCR
