This position is responsible for operational and administrative oversight, visioning, leadership, planning, coordinating and managing all aspects of the Animal Control Department which includes field operations and animal shelter.
Jurisdiction Yearly Salary
MOBILE COUNTY $80,774 - $129,129MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS : Attainment of a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university in business administration, animal science, zoology, biology or a closely related field and a minimum of five years responsible experience working with animals (preferably in a shelter environment) including three years of experience in a managerial role, preferably at a city/county animal shelter or animal nonprofit; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS : Must possess a valid driver’s license from state of residence.
