What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Connect with consumers over the phone who are experiencing emotional distress or mental health issues
- Build rapport and engage clients effectively
- Assess risk and manage documentation during calls
- Provide resources and information as needed
- Identify safe coping mechanisms and develop safety plans
- Perform emergency interventions when necessary
- Maintain a calm and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduate degree in a behavioral health field (MSW, PsyD, or PhD) or a clinical practice emphasis (M.A. or M.S.) from an accredited program
- Licensed as a limited or fully licensed social worker or counselor according to state licensing board requirements
- Reside in Michigan with one of the following licenses: LLMSW, LLC (aka LLPC), LLP, LLMFT, LMSW, LPC, LMFT, LLP, or LP

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in crisis intervention or counseling roles in a healthcare-related setting
