What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Adjudicate claims accurately and fairly in accordance with contracts and applicable regulations
- Provide respectful, prompt, concise, and accurate customer service in a high-demand environment
- Physically process various death claim transaction types and ensure timely payments
- Determine necessary data, calculate benefits payable, and communicate claim decisions to beneficiaries
- Manage daily workload efficiently to meet established Service Level Agreements

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED; Associate's degree in Business or Finance preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the annuity industry or related retirement and financial services
- At least 2 years of experience processing retirement services payments
- Strong understanding of claim management techniques and critical thinking skills
- Superior verbal and written communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with a customer relationship management system
- Proven ability to maintain accuracy in research and analysis
- Familiarity with confidential/protected identification environments
- Good math and calculation skills
- Flexibility to work varying schedules as required by management
