- Lead and coordinate project communication, documentation, and execution of several projects.
- Maintain high-level project management expertise to deliver projects on time.
- Prompt leadership and action internally with the factory ops team and application engineering to complete outstanding milestones and provide progress updates to customers.
- Escalate to the head/s of the department or manager/s of the responsible party if the responsible party is not cooperating to meet delivery milestones.
- Ensure detailed design layouts of bus duct systems based on site surveys, customer drawings, project tenders, and field inputs are in place for onward project management.
- Working knowledge of Autocad, Revit, Visio mechanical and electrical, MS project (Gantt chart) preferred.
- Compile product technical documentation (catalog sheets, FAQs, Tech Briefs, Reports, installation instructions, O&M, etc.).
- Provide technical and commercial support to customers onsite (or remotely during offsite) as required to prevent any delay to the project schedule.
- Attend project site meetings and document meeting minutes to keep track of progress and be proactive in initiating meetings in writing to clear any outstanding issues to ensure the company is not held liable for any project delay.
- Ensure contractors/suppliers carry out site installation in accordance to contract/specification requirements/installation layout.
- Put up variation orders for additional work not part of the provisions.
- Submit payment progress claims, invoices, and chase for account receivables.
- Join application engineering for Testing & Commissioning (SAT, IST).
- Attain customer's sign-off in acceptance of project handover.
- Support the management of the customer’s project through the entire project lifecycle.
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Project Management.
- Minimum of 15 years of project management experience in the data center domain.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Autocad, Revit, Visio mechanical and electrical, MS Project (Ghantt chart).
- Familiar with project management tools.
- Proficient in technical writing and communication for project management reports to customers and internally.
- Prior experience with Busbar products is a great plus.
- Superior organizational, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proactive and independent in solving project issues, do not wait.
- Aptitude for electrical product design and application in power distribution and busbar/duct products.
- Familiar with the IEC standards and various IEC certifications, local code of practice/regulations/standards.
- Ability to communicate, articulate, persuade, and influence people at all levels, verbally, in writing, and by presentation.
- Stable, loyal, and reliable, desire to resolve issues personality.
- Self-reliant, flexible, independent, and resourceful.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to understand electrical products and data center applications.

- Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting, and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
- The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing/construction areas where certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hard hat, vest, boots, and mandatory hearing protection.
- Regularly required to stand; walk and communicate with others.

Position Description
At a Glance
Legrand has an exciting opportunity for an APAC Sales Support Lead to join the Data Center Power & Control Division. The primary function of this role is providing high-level engineering expertise, on-site project management, and commercial leadership and support on the application of Starline high-power busbar & open channel busway solutions. The role shall partner with application engineering to provide technical expertise to lead and support activities aimed at defining and executing the project scope and delivering the project on time according to contractual obligations, which will maintain a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. The role will work with sales executive leadership and customer service leadership and support to ensure application engineering completes its engineering work per customer demands and long-term needs, for the factory ops team to have the finished goods ready for delivery per project timeline and ensure the factory ops team provides the status of production throughout the manufacturing lifecycle. This role requires strong leadership and communication across multiple functions and a complete understanding of the sales and operations business cycle.
