      Summary

      The API Business Analyst will act as the central focal point to gather and document requirements for enterprise APIs from multiple input channels. This person will work directly in and with the API Banking and ESB team to create and analyze functional documentation, user stories, acceptance criteria, and testing requirements to support the delivery of enterprise APIs. The API Business Analyst will coordinate with API developers and architects on the team and other enterprise technology teams; work closely with lines of business, stakeholders, and project management office; and manage other aspects of assigned projects. The API Business Analyst will act as a lead in the SLDC and release processes and have a primary responsibility in communication to insure efficient delivery of high quality and valuable real-time services.

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • The API Business Analyst should have some understanding of API concepts, standards, and technologies
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
      • Strong problem solving skills; ability to build strong collaborative relationships across teams
      • SLDC and release management experience
      • Experience in Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies
      • 2+ years using Jira and Confluence
      • 3+ years of general IT experience
      • 5+ years of business analysis experience with large and complex enterprise systems.

      1. Bachelor (4-year college) degree and 4+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

      COMPUTER AND OFFICE EQUIPMENT SKILLS

      1. Microsoft Office suite

      CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS (Ex: CPA, Series 6 or 7 license, etc)
