Develop and manage tools to monitor and maintain optimal performance of our enterprise applications.
Handle regular updates, patches, and modifications to ensure our applications run smoothly.
Collaborate with senior team members and external vendors to align technology services with the needs of an educational institution.
Provide technical support for complex issues in enterprise applications.
Ensure compliance with university security policies and best practices for server applications.
Participate in IT and academic meetings to bridge technology with educational goals.
Commit to your professional development by identifying and enhancing your strengths and weaknesses.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience AND two years of related experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience AND three years of related experience
E xperience in higher education or government settings, customer service, server environments (preferably Windows and/or Linux), server monitoring tools, optimization techniques, conceptual application security best practices, basic knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), and experience with API, scripting, basic programming, and workflow concepts.
