What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide technical support to GMI users, troubleshooting issues and resolving problems
- Configure and maintain the GMI system, including testing and implementing changes
- Collaborate with development, testing, and project management teams for effective system operation
- Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including user guides and procedures

What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5-8 years of experience in production support or software development, preferably in the fintech industry
- Strong SQL knowledge and query writing skills
- Experience with FIS GMI, AS/400, and System 36/RPGLE
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Strong organizational and communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with ITIL practices
- Familiarity with Python, Perl, or scripting skills
- Background in a service-based environment
- Proven ability to manage remote vendor teams effectively
- Self-motivated with a strong desire for continuous improvement
