What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform complex analysis, design, development, testing, and support services for assigned applications
- Oversee day-to-day tracking and follow-up on operational issues and questions
- Participate in applications analysis and impact analysis of new or different applications and processes
- Provide advanced application support and technical guidance to end users and less experienced personnel
- Prepare written documentation including application documentation, analytical reports, and training manuals
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in a health, science, or business field, or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in information applications, including one year in programming or applications analysis
- Experience in a healthcare environment is preferred
- Demonstrated competence in analysis and problem-solving principles
- Ability to develop technical specifications and familiarity with application integration
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Additional certifications related to healthcare information applications
- Experience as a provider, clinician, or ancillary services in system implementation as a subject matter expert
- Familiarity with data gathering techniques and management information applications
