What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage the NMTC Allocation Application process for client community development entities (CDEs)
- Draft and prepare compelling business strategy and community outcomes narratives for funding applications
- Collaborate with clients to identify suitable NMTC pipeline opportunities based on unique CDE needs
- Identify and manage additional grant and application writing opportunities to ensure timely submissions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to secure necessary commitments and evidence of support for funding applications

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in grant writing or community development finance
- Strong written communication skills
- Knowledge of finance and reporting, with experience in CDFI Fund’s AMIS reporting preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across different project phases
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with borrowers, lenders, investors, and stakeholders
- Background in tax credit finance or CDE/CDFI Lending
- BA in English, Journalism, Finance, Planning, or a related field
