What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the primary development contact for each Epic module, ensuring effective configuration of Epic application areas
- Collaborate across teams to support and develop the Epic system without direct supervision
- Optimize Epic to achieve safety and efficiency goals in billing processes
- Address and resolve issues related to consecutive/Medicare 3-day billing, rural health billing, and other billing types
- Maintain knowledge of working DNB edits, system actions, and payor/plan mapping

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Epic Hospital Billing Administration & Hospital Billing Claims Certification required
- Minimum of 3 years of recent relevant experience in healthcare billing
- Strong knowledge of system analysis techniques and organization policies
- Extensive Epic knowledge beyond the assigned team module

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Critical Access Billing and HomeHealth Hospice Billing
- Familiarity with research billing practices
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across various teams
- Strong analytical skills in assessing system actions and payor/plan mapping
