      Summary

      Perform assignments on work in connection with the construction, operation and maintenance of the electric systems as qualified through formalized and/or on the job training. Perform drafting work. Maintain record systems. Perform field investigation work. Prepare reports.

      Employees entering this position shall be required to complete a minimum time in position and will be restricted from applying for others positions within the company for a period of four years.

      Job Duties & Responsibilities

      • Must possess mechanical aptitude and possess a temperament suitable to duties that require patience and accuracy.
      • High school graduate or equivalent, having completed courses in Mechanical Drawing, Mathematics and Physics.
      • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
      • Must have the ability to satisfactorily complete the Company training courses.
      • Must exercise good judgment and demonstrate a willingness to learn.
      • Must have successfully completed the Technician-Apprentice Engineering Technician Test.

      Job Qualifications

      Required Skills

      •Must possess mechanical aptitude and possess a temperament suitable to duties that require patience and accuracy.

      Desirable:

      • Electric Distribution field experience
      • Degree or technical experience
      • General experience with computer applications
      • Experience working on project work
