What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Obtain and record all authorizations needed for radiation treatment and services
- Contact insurance companies for non-payment of claims and submit medical records as needed
- Coordinate with physicians for peer-to-peer reviews and authorize requests
- Review patient accounts to ensure accuracy and timely payment
- Resolve patient billing complaints and follow up on claim payments

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of two years of authorization and/or accounts receivable follow-up preferably in a medical and/or oncology setting
- Ability to interact professionally with patients and insurance companies regarding sensitive financial matters
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple A/R reports within specified timeframes
- Knowledge of medical guidelines and insurance policies

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in a radiation department or oncology setting
- Familiarity with Mosaiq software or similar medical billing systems
- Previous experience in handling patient and insurance refunds
